Courtney Hare, Public Policy Manager with Momentum in Calgary, who will share details about their recent policy wins around payday lending and what’s next in terms of harmful fringe financial services- Kyle White, Community Engagement Co-ordinator with Co-operatives First, who will share what Co-operatives First is all about, why it was created, and what you can look forward to moving forward.
- Sarah Leeson-Klym, Manitoba Regional Director with the Canadian CED Network, who will share details regarding Gathering and Canadian Conference on Social Enterprise taking place in Winnipeg next year.
This regional virtual member meetup is an opportunity to connect with other CCEDNet members, Board members and staff in your region, to discuss opportunities and challenges, and ask questions.
The meeting will start with introductions, followed by presentations and discussion related to the topics mentioned above and conversations around any other issues and/or opportunities emerging from the exchanges.
New members are particularly welcome.
