Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day

Salary: $22.00 to $27.50 Hourly for 35 hours per week, Medical Benefits, Dental Benefits, Group Insurance Benefits

Anticipated Start Date: 2014/01/13

Location: Sudbury and Area, Ontario (1 vacancy)

Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of university

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not applicable

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Work Setting: Community organization

Area of Specialization: Housing, Immigration, Native affairs, Social and welfare services, Survey research

Specific Skills: Conduct demographic, social and economic analyses, Conduct research, Identify and assess economic, demographic and social developments and report on implications for housing and related social policy, Develop questionnaires for social survey research, Conduct surveys and analyze data, Compile and interpret statistics on social issues and policy research, Prepare research papers, educational texts or articles, Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops or symposia

Additional Skills: Supervise professional and support staff and students, Use computer applications

Work Location Information: Urban area

Ability to Supervise: 1 to 2 people, Working groups, Committees, Staff in various areas of responsibility
