National Project Manager – Empowering Women’s Enterprises and Networks

Reporting to: WEC's Executive Director
Location: Works virtually with national travel involved

Purpose of the position

The consultant shall during the term of this agreement provide WEC, the client, with project management and coordination services for the Cluster Model project, in consultation with the WEC Executive Director. These services will include:

  • National project management at a minimum of four sites in Canada
  • Prepare project progress reports when scheduled
  • Support and advise on national evaluation
  • Be direct link and coordinator to project site staff
  • Prepare and identify Community Economic Development resources required by project sites
  • Assist in training and orientation of new project sites
  • Manage national work plan corresponding with regional work plans
  • Plan, coordinate and execute communication opportunities for regional sites
  • Prepare and support online information and social media requirements for national sites 
  • Support and assist in developing sustainability planning for regional sites

  • Experience in communications oral; report writing; social media
  • Experience in conducting and developing training

Academic and qualifications

  • Post secondary education in related fields such as: public administration; sociology; community development and/or related experience for 3 years
