Info session #1
Does your community need more childcare spaces? Daycare co-operatives are a well-established way for parents, community members, economic development officers, and municipal and business leaders to work together to create licensed childcare spaces. If you’re in western Canada, now is the time to start.
The federal government has set a goal to provide $10/day daycare by 2025-26, and offers funds for people who create childcare spaces to help them reach that goal.
Co-operatives First can help you start a daycare co-op.
