Thursday Morning Breakfast Plenary: Building Thriving Communities
Fred Khonje is the Community Development Manager at Affinity Credit Union, a values based financial co-operative based in Saskatchewan. He is a long time resident of Saskatoon and loves to be involved in all things to do with community economic development, and social enterprise. His 14 year career path engaging in the social economy has covered a variety of areas including non-profit housing, community economic development, co-op and social enterprise business development, housing policy development and social financing.
Fred holds two undergraduate degrees from the University of Saskatchewan (Bachelor of Arts Psychology and Sociology) and received his MBA in Community Economic Development from Cape Breton University. His greatest work is serving as a husband and proud father of two.
