Kayla Penelton is the Farm Program and Development Manager at FortWhyte Farms. Kayla works closely with FortWhyte Alive’s development team, seeking grants to expand employment opportunities for the youth we hire and farm operations . When she’s not working on funding, you’ll find Kayla walking around with a list in hand, checking in on all the goings on around the farm. She also tries to get out to the gardens, corralling escaped roosters, or lending a hand wherever needed. Her versatility and dedication make her an essential part of FortWhyte Farms.
