Amna Iqbal co-founded Healthy Muslim Families in 2020, an organization that helps immigrants transition into the Canadian system. She is a mother of four and is originally from Pakistan, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in commerce and a master’s degree in business administration with a finance major. She migrated to Canada in 2008 with her husband and her 18-month-old son.
Ever since, she has been actively involved in the volunteer community, which eventually led to the establishment of Healthy Muslim Families, a non-profit organization. She is the director of programs at HMF. Among other projects, her programs involve empowering women, seniors, and children.
She is a huge fan of traveling and exploring new places.
