I met Elder Mae Louise in 2023 and since then my life has changed. I can finally breathe and feel and be happy and live my true self without my past creeping up behind me. I got custody of my nephew who I lost contact with when my sister died in 2014. Ten years later they placed him with me, thanks to the help and letters from Clan Mothers. I’ve learned how to let go of things in the past. Now I have my first real job and my first real, sober, happy life.
