Hilda Mann is an Anishinabekwe born and raised on Treaty 1 Territory. A former day school student, she has worked on healing herself and others from the many intergenerational effects of residential school. She chooses to live the traditional life denied to the many generations before her. Hilda is a poet, writer, and grandmother. She has worked in inner-city agencies coordinating healing and wellness programs, providing a safe space for others to heal through group facilitation and ceremony.
