Shannon Steeves is the Winnipeg Regional Manager for CareImpact, where she helps bridge connections between community organizations, social services, and everyday people to support families in need. Through the CarePortal platform, she has seen how “care-sharing” — bringing together neighbours with needs and neighbours with resources — builds trust, strengthens families, and mobilizes community support in practical and lasting ways.
With a background in community development and years of experience fostering cross-sector collaboration, Shannon is passionate about building networks of care that are both practical and transformative. She has served in leadership and volunteer roles with organizations addressing housing insecurity, family economic mobility, and systemic barriers.
When she’s not collaborating with organizations in Winnipeg, Shannon can be found watching football with her husband, planning their next camping trip, or visiting her family back home in Minnesota.
