Dr. Royce Koop is a Professor in the Department of Political Studies and Coordinator of the Canadian Studies program at the University of Manitoba. He served as the Academic Director of the Centre for Social Science Research and Policy (CSSRP) from 2021 to June 2025 and continues to contribute as a valued member of the CSSRP Board.
Dr. Koop’s research in Political Science spans a wide range of methodologies, including participant observation, interviews, original survey design, and statistical analysis. He is also a frequent contributor to public discourse on policy issues in Manitoba and across Canada, offering expert commentary through various media outlets.
