Ms. Michelle Colussi
Michelle brings 30 years of experience facilitating rural community development that has included working with municipal and First Nations governments, nonprofit and business sectors, in the arts, youth justice, recreation and psycho-social rehab. She brings a depth of knowledge in non-profit organizational development, facilitation, training and community development. Her experience includes diverse clients and contexts such as multi-stakeholder facilitation of a forest certification advisory process for Western Forest Products, the development of the Community Resilience Manual which has been used and adapted around the world including as the basis for the Government of Botswana's Poverty Reduction Program where Michelle trained local facilitators, and development of one of the first Consumer/Survivor Peer Support programs in BC. She is a Transition Town trainer and co-founder, co-founder of Building Resilient Neighbourhoods, and a trainer and coach in collective impact approaches.
