Amy Smith

Amy’s passion for waste minimization began in her childhood home in Pinawa, Manitoba where she helped her parents with the backyard compost and worked a couple of summers at the town recycling depot as a teenager. In 2018, Amy completed a Masters of Natural Resource Management from the University of Manitoba with a focus on sustainable development and waste management planning. Her thesis studied ways to improve end-of-life vehicle management and recycling in northern Manitoba.
