Sagal Dualeh joined the Canadian Women’s Foundation as Director of Investment Readiness and has over ten years experience in the field working with non-profit organizations, charities, government, as well as with social enterprise and entrepreneurs. She’s worked in varying sectors including building resilient regional & local food systems, connecting food-preneurs to trade markets, supporting community development initiatives, and fostering women’s participation in the social finance sector. Through the Investment Readiness Program, Sagal aims to boost women’s sector participation in the social finance and social innovation ecosystem; particularly supporting organizations that serve women who face multiple barriers and are underrepresented in the field. Sagal holds a M.A. in International Economics and Finance and enjoys snowboarding, travelling and spending time with friends and family.
