This report draws together information from all of the research projects conducted as part of the Manitoba Research Alliance on Community Economic Development in the New Economy. It includes sections on; defining the New Economy and its effects on Manitoba’s rural, Northern and Aboriginal, and urban communities, effects of the New Economy on Government policies, and the effects on selected Manitoba industries, including agriculture, banking, airlines, garment industry, call centres, and CED organizations and networks. The report also includes a bibliography of selected MRA reports used for this kit.
