Join CCEDNet Manitoba and the Manitoba Cooperative Association for A Guide to Tax Credits with CED Workshop on February 12.
In this session, participants will explore how community enterprises can leverage the Manitoba Community Enterprise Development Tax Credit (CEDTC) to support sustainable growth and collective action in their organizations.
We’ll use Peg City Car Co-op as a case study to dive into practical strategies for applying for the tax credit, like managing investments and using the incentive to attract community-based support. Attendees will gain insights into the application process, compliance requirements, and best practices for maximizing the benefits of the CEDTC. The tax credit can be used by Manitoba community owned corporations (not just co-ops) who wish to raise investment capital from within their community.
The CEDTC is eligible for cooperatives or for-profit businesses and social enterprises. Non-profits are not eligible, however, non-profits and charities interested in social acquisition will find the presentation useful.
All are welcome to attend to learn and engage!
