Cate Friesen, the force behind The Story Source, is a story strategist, facilitator, trainer, and keynote presenter who brings together 30 years of experience as an entrepreneur, award-winning CBC producer, documentary maker, and performer. She has helped individuals take their lived experiences to the storytelling stage, including marginalized youth at CanU Storytelling Gala, rural volunteers at Endow Manitoba Conference and people living with HIV/AIDs at MB HIVSTBBI Collective Impact Network gathering. She was the lead trainer for The Winnipeg Foundation’s highly successful leadership development program, Fast Pitch. Her signature workshops, Leverage the Power of Story, Power of the Pitch, and Stand and Deliver have been presented to organizations across Canada.
