Nate is a Two-Spirit, Indigenous community member from Winnipeg and the Manager of Kelly’s Corner, a transitional housing program operated by Sunshine House. Over the past two years, they have worked across a range of Sunshine House programs, developing a broad understanding of the organization’s services and community-based approach. Nate works closely with Sunshine House’s peer advisory circles to ensure community perspectives and lived experience inform decisions related to housing programs.
