Dr. Shirley Thompson is a professor in the Faculty of Environment, Earth, and Resources at the University of Manitoba and principal investigator with the Mino Bimaadiziwin Partnership. For more than 20 years, she has worked with First Nations on food, traditional land-use mapping, community-led education, and community development.
