Winnie Amo-Mensah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance and a Master of Management, and brings extensive experience in community support, youth mentorship, and service coordination. As Director of Gizhiwenimin Initiatives at Sunshine House, she works with partner organizations to promote sexual health, coordinate vaccine clinics, and support 2SLGBTQIA+ refugee claimants and newcomers. Her work focuses on community education, service facilitation, and community-based research. Previously, Winnie managed Kelly’s Corner, Sunshine House’s transitional housing program for queer individuals transitioning out of encampments.
