This report draws together information from all of the research projects conducted as part of the Manitoba Research Alliance on Community Economic Development in the New Economy. It especially focuses on Aboriginal issues. The report contains sections on; defining Community Economic Development (CED), a profile of Manitoba’s Aboriginal community, a definition of the New Economy, Aboriginal employment in selected Manitoba industries, education and training and recommendations to improve Aboriginal education and training that have arisen from MRA research. The report also includes a bibliography of selected MRA reports used for this kit.
