The Citizen’s Handbook is a regularly updated grassroots organizing guide that can be downloaded online. Although developed in Vancouver, the Handbook separates out the information that is specific to Vancouver and provides a substantial amount of material useful to any group interested in community engagement. The most useful and developed portions of the Handbook provide detailed guidance for community organizing and community building activities. In addition, the site provides a list of potential reading sources and links for community organizations.
