Anny is a community educator strongly shaped by her upbringing as a child of refugees and as a youth participant in Katimavik. Her love for experiential learning and community engagement was further nurtured by an M.Ed in Adult Education and Community Development, her work with newcomers as a settlement and EAL teacher, and her time organizing with various communities in Winnipeg.
Currently, Anny works in Community Engaged Learning at The University of Manitoba, helping students learn how to work in good ways with community. She is also part of a new collective, Community Organizers Learning Together, which brings together rad organizing groups to build relationships and share their knowledge and skills with each other.
