The First Peoples’ Cultural Foundation is working to assist British Columbia’s First Nation people with the documentation, protection and revitalization of Aboriginal languages, arts and cultures. The website includes information about, and access to, the FirstVoices language tool. The tool is intended to enable any language group to develop their own archiving and language reference resource in their own communities. Text, sound and video can be uploaded to a secure Web-based application to establish language resources for any community wherever they may be. The site also includes a links page and profiles of First Nations people working in the area of language and cultural revitalization. The News and Events portion of the site includes information about funding opportunities.
