EconoUs2019 connected over 400 community leaders across Canada in London, Ontario. The conference was an initiative between two planning partners and co-hosts, Community Futures Ontario and the Canadian CED Network.
EconoUs2019 was designed around the theme Communities Leading Innovation and welcomed 413 leaders from 9 provinces for a 3-day collaboration in London, Ontario.
The event featured dynamic speakers and facilitators, interactive storytelling, skill-building sessions, peer learning, and plenty of opportunities to network. It also featured local and regional tours that highlighted inclusive and sustainable local economy initiatives in London.
The focus of the conference was Communities Leading Innovation and was intended to show how the most transformational ideas will be those created by and carried by communities. The conference grew the momentum of our interconnected work, enabled solutions and highlighted inspiring community examples, connecting the social innovation landscape through shared strategies, stories, challenges and successes.
