LITE’s mission is to promote Community Economic Development (CED) by supporting inner city programs in Winnipeg that provide jobs and training opportunities to the chronically underemployed. We provide grants to partner organizations running specific programs and we make strategic purchases to support the inner-city economy and employment. LITE directs donations to support jobs, and more importantly, to help people who want to overcome the challenges they face. Our name says it all: We invest locally toward employment.
