Interested in working overseas in micro credit, gender equality or community economic development?
Canadian Crossroads International (CCI's) Western Regional Office is accepting applications for overseas positions in Bolivia. These are volunteer positions that receive a modest stipend while overseas and have all related travel and living expenses covered. Apply NOW as the deadline is May 16!
You are invited to apply to join the Canadian delegation at the 2008 Tri-country Housing Conference. Due to the kind sponsorship of previous conference attendees, we are able to offer two complimentary places at this key event for young people/students interested in housing. The conference provides a great opportunity for housing professionals from the UK, the US and Canada to come together to discuss issues of common interest and concern.
This year's focus is:
• governance and government
• tomorrow's leaders
• instruments of change
Youth representatives from Canada will meet with youth representatives from the UK and the US to discuss common issues. The conference will be held in Toronto from October 14-17 and the complimentary places include travel to/from the event, accommodation, meals and the conference registration fee.

A small committee will make the recommendations to CHRA's Executive Committee.
The Ontario Human Rights Commission will be hosting a national conference on human rights this coming June.

CASHRA 2008 will address ways in which commissions and communities can work together to develop a strong human rights culture in Canada. By identifying common goals and methods for cooperative exchange and action, the conference aims to lay a foundation for a more collaborative and interdependent approach to human rights.
