Network Weaving

Network Weaving is all about building connection and power in community organizations & social economy enterprises through convening stakeholders and leaders and representing sector interests.

CCEDNet Manitoba’s core function is to coordinate, support, and facilitate the Manitoba membership of the Canadian CED Network.

Manitoba members currently come together through the Annual Member Meeting, the annual Policy Summit event, and occasionally throughout other members-only events.

These member engagement meetings facilitate feedback on the work of the Network, set direction moving forward, and connect members to each other.

Through the Network Weaving work of the Manitoba regional network, community organizations and social economy enterprises are able to achieve more due to easier information sharing, collaborative effort, and a strengthened ecosystem.

CCEDNet Manitoba Network Weaving activities include:

  • Communicating with members and the public about information and opportunities
  • Sharing information and answering questions related to CED and the ecosystem
  • Public engagement and presenting publicly
  • Engaging members and future members through individual support and relationship building
