The Ownership Matters event seeks to engage, educate, and galvanize stakeholders across the public, private and nonprofit sectors in Canada around the concept of community ownership within the broader community wealth building agenda.
The event will convene leaders from the community economic development sector, governments, academics and community wealth building practitioners to imagine new futures and co-design solutions to advance community ownership of wealth-generating assets at scale in Canada.
The event will take place in Victoria, British Columbia at Royal Roads University, located on the traditional Lands of the Lekwungen-speaking Peoples, the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations.
